Growth hormone axis

CJC-1295

Editorial audit: October 15, 2026 · draft; scientific, medical and translation review pending

01What is reported

Sources describe CJC products, often paired with ipamorelin, for sleep, body composition and recovery. “Without DAC” is a naming issue that must be resolved rather than treated as a minor variation.

02Proposed rationale

The rationale combines growth-hormone-releasing signaling with another secretagogue. Proposed complementary actions do not demonstrate additional functional benefit.

03What the research shows

Human long-acting CJC-1295 studies measured hormone exposure. A human pulsatility study does not support the simple claim that DAC abolishes GH pulses.

04Limits and unknowns

Those studies do not validate every product marketed as CJC without DAC or a nightly community combination. Higher GH/IGF-1 is not itself better sleep or injury recovery.

05Questions to ask about the product

Is this the long-acting studied molecule, Mod GRF, or an incompletely identified commercial product? Retain the precise identity.

06Open research question

How much naming ambiguity exists in documented exposures, and how often do reports include the exact formulation rather than only “CJC”?
