Gut and immune function
KPV
Editorial audit: October 15, 2026 · draft; scientific, medical and translation review pending
01What is reported
KPV appears in gut, skin and inflammation protocols, alone or with BPC-157 and LL-37. Sources often move between oral and injected use.
02Proposed rationale
KPV is a short peptide derived from alpha-MSH. The audited guides simplify receptor explanations; transport and model-specific findings require closer reading.
03What the research shows
PepT1-related cellular and mouse-colitis experiments provide preclinical evidence. The FDA assessment did not identify clinical human studies in its reviewed evidence.
04Limits and unknowns
Animal colitis improvement does not establish human Crohn disease treatment, a safe injection schedule or clinical efficacy of a gut stack.
NOT A RECOMMENDATION.Each amount is attributed to the source identified for that entry: regulatory product labeling, human research, or community and practice sources. These source categories have different evidentiary roles. They are not medical advice, not a protocol, not a recommended or safe dose, and not evidence that it works. Do not use them to start, change or stop any treatment. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional.
05Questions to ask about the product
Preserve exact molecule and route. KPV, LL-37 and larazotide are distinct interventions, not synonyms.

06Open research question
What do users mean by “gut improvement,” and which validated symptom/function measures could a future protocol consistently capture?
