Recovery and tissue repair

TB-500

Editorial audit: October 15, 2026 · draft; scientific, medical and translation review pending

01What is reported

TB-500 is described for repair and in Wolverine-type combinations. Sources and sellers may use overlapping names for different materials.

02Proposed rationale

Claims borrow from thymosin beta-4 biology, including cell migration and repair. Evidence transfer requires the same molecule, not a shared name.

03What the research shows

The FDA scientific assessment distinguishes TB-500-related substances from full-length thymosin beta-4. A topical ocular trial of the latter does not test injected vendor TB-500.

04Limits and unknowns

The ocular trial’s primary endpoints were not positive, despite some secondary findings. Neither those findings nor laboratory data establish systemic repair-stack effectiveness.

05Questions to ask about the product

Which sequence and modifications were confirmed? The common name does not guarantee chemical identity, salt form or equivalence.

06Open research question

Can exposure records distinguish verified sequence, label-only identity and unknown material before outcomes are grouped?
