Brain, mood and sleep
DSIP
Editorial audit: October 15, 2026 · draft; scientific, medical and translation review pending
01What is reported
DSIP is promoted for deep sleep and is paired with Epitalon in some accounts. Some schedules imply reliable or chronic benefit.
02Proposed rationale
The name and proposed sleep biology do not demonstrate restoration of sleep architecture or superiority to other approaches.
03What the research shows
A small double-blind insomnia study found limited selective effects rather than a major overall benefit.
04Limits and unknowns
This evidence does not validate long-term combination cycles or a universal sleep-restoration claim. Subjective sleep and measured sleep outcomes should remain separate.
NOT A RECOMMENDATION.Each amount is attributed to the source identified for that entry: regulatory product labeling, human research, or community and practice sources. These source categories have different evidentiary roles. They are not medical advice, not a protocol, not a recommended or safe dose, and not evidence that it works. Do not use them to start, change or stop any treatment. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional.
05Questions to ask about the product
What material and route were used, and is the reported outcome a subjective impression or a comparable measurement?

06Open research question
Can independently occurring exposures be documented with consistent sleep measures, work schedules, caffeine, other medicines and missing follow-up?
