Reading guide
From experience to a research question
Better data begin with a defined question and consistent follow-up.

Three different activities
Reading about practices is education. Choosing future educational topics is editorial feedback. Systematically collecting health exposures and outcomes for generalizable knowledge may be human-subjects research. Calling a form anonymous, a survey or a community project does not settle its classification. Applicable institutions and jurisdictions must make the appropriate determination.
What the proposed program would do
A proposed observational program would document exposures that occurred independently of participation. It would not assign a peptide, recommend a dose, ask someone to start a cycle or reward additional exposure. Different questions may require different cohorts, outcomes and follow-up; there is no scientifically coherent registry of every peptide and every goal with one universal success score.
How it could advance science
Useful outputs could include feasibility, completeness of product identification, patterns of missing follow-up and carefully qualified safety signals. A signal generates a question; it is not an incidence estimate without a defined denominator, nor proof of causality. Any later comparative work needs a prespecified analysis and appropriate oversight.
